ALTISSIA is looking for an enthusiast and bridge-building Scrum Master who will coach our organisation in executing Agile practices. While promoting Agile principles and values, your final goal will be to improve the workflow of the Product Owner and Developers by establishing a trustful and efficient working environment.

Your Mission

  • Coach the IT Team on all aspects of the Scrum (pillars, values, roles, events, artifacts);
  • Prepare and facilitate events: define scope, choose, prepare and define activities and games in order to ensure active participation of all team members;
  • Build a trusting environment for the team which includes promoting transparency;
  • Help identify and remove impediments quickly to maintain velocity;
  • Support and advise the Product Owners in matters of Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management;
  • Liaison with IT Director and Release Manager;
  • Be an advocate of Scrum and Agile throughout the company, especially to help continuous improvement.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, Natural language processing or equivalent with analytical background;
  • 5 years or more in business analysis, functional specifications, business requirements definition or scrum mastering role;
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques and tools – User Stories, Continuous Integration, Agile Games, Liberating Structures, etc;
  • Understanding of software development and software delivery processes and procedures;
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, DevOps, etc. and can speak intelligently about them;
  • Knowledge and good skills in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, self-management, transparency, psychological safety and servant leadership;
  • Problem-solver mindset;
  • Team work;
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills;
  • Autonomy;
  • You are fluent in English and French;
  • Advanced Office tools skills as well as JIRA experience.
