This position is based in Izegem, Belgium.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior HR Business Partner will be the HR point of contact and deliver core people processes for our 300 people in the edible oils refinery and bottling site in Izegem. You will focus on people and culture strategy, workforce planning and talent development needs, organization effectiveness support and operational delivery of related processes. In this role, you will also lead a team of 2 specialists responsible for a refinery in Rotterdam and the EMEA Supply Chain Teams based in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will act as a trusted partner to the Izegem site management teams and the EMEA edible oils operations leader. As part of the management team, you will partner with key leaders in defining and driving organizational goals and strategy initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with key leaders on the development and implementation of complex local people and culture strategy in alignment with the business and local people and culture strategy.
- Support and manage the execution of core people processes throughout the year at the plants with communications and coaching to leaders and monitor employee inquiry volume and employee relations case trends to develop actions with the leadership.
- Provide support to plant supervisors and employees, act as the first point of contact for related questions, onboard new employees, triage grievance matters, support leave management and manage on site audits.
- Identification and implementation of solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks for the plant while also building an inclusive culture.
- Support the execution of learning and talent programs, talent acquisition activities and projects in the plants
- Communicate and adopt diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices in plant locations.
- Partner with key members across the operating model on workforce and talent planning, development strategies to select, retain and develop talent performance management, team development and engagement action planning.
- Leverage complex reports and dashboards to measure and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant locations, provide trend analysis and recommend solutions based on insights.
- Lead the team to drive the people and culture plans at the production sites and facilities to deliver operational performance, providing effective leadership and coaching for related resources.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of supervisory experience
