You are an enthusiastic, motivated engineer who enjoys working in a team on comple data integration solutions.

You automate your own work! Instead of building the same job several times, standardizing and automating work is deeply rooted in your Engineer DNA. This applies not only to job building but to complete end-to-end delivery, including automatic testing and continuous delivery.

You don’t shy away from challenges. In fact, you go ahead and share your solution with your colleagues. You also endorse the values of ING, you consider it natural to behave in accordance with these values in your work and you are, like all ING employees, prepared to take the banker’s oath.

How to succeed:

Our biggest epectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. Requirements are:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by eperience
  • Certifications and/or proven proficiency in software development
  • Master on IT Management is a plus.
  • You have at least 9+ years’ eperience in IT projects following Agile methodology.
  • You have very good knowledge on following tools, languages: Java 17, Kafka, Spring boot, Maven.
  • You are familiar with continuous integration and delivery (Azure for DevOps)
  • Monitoring tool knowledge is an asset (e.g., Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Knowledge of any other programming language will be highly appreciated (e.g., Phyton). Willingness to learn other programming codes is indispensable.
  • Awareness on Security & IT Risk aspects is a must.
  • Awareness on Resilience patterns is an asset.
  • Good written and spoken knowledge of English.
