JOB DESCRIPTION

INTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking a professional to cover the following opening based in Brussels:

Senior Java Developer

We are looking for inspired professionals that will be part of highly skilled teams who design, develop, deploy, customize and support technologies for EU institutions. The job holder will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the components and the required integration with other systems.

You will:

• Perform design, development, unit/integration testing and maintenance of software that both follow the reference architecture rules and accurately implement the specifications received in the documents of analysis provided by the business analysts of the project;
• Contribute to the BPM platform solution architecture, propose innovative new designs and develop prototypes, rollout pilots;
• Produce and maintain up-to-date the software architecture and components design documentation, development manuals and tutorials to be used by the BPM development community at EC, based on the reference architecture;
• Prototype development of business processes and maintain BPM reference flows (business processes) to demonstrate the usage of new features/components added to the BPM platform;
• Provide technical scripts/documents and assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
• Follow-up development of change requests and defects fixing and if necessary perform;
• Follow-up meetings with the team members (architecture owners, team leaders; testers; project manager).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You have…

• University Degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
• Experience with:
  • Java / J2EE
  • EJB
  • Hibernate
  • Web applications development, including REST & SOAP web services
  • Oracle rdbms 12c
  • SQL
  • WebLogic
  • UML analysis method

• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and capacity to manage planning boards, sprints and deliver iteratively
• Fluency in English

• Experience with:
  • Vaadin
