You will be based in our Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon or Wroclaw office as part of our Marketing & Sales Solutions teams globally.

What You’ll Do
You will be a leader of Periscope’s technology team with responsibilities that range from shaping and implementing strategic products to ensuring that McKinsey’s craft stays on the leading edge of data and technology.
You will have a hands-on role in leading the technology direction of the Marketing & Sales Solutions (MSS). Working closely with our Solution teams, your expertise will expand into software engineering, data engineering, Cloud native technologies, DevOps and other domains. You will help build internal architecture community and practice in MSS, keeping abreast of new technologies and ways of working that might be beneficial to the organization. You will develop small innovative proof of concepts and be actively involved in discovery engagements, attending and occasionally talking at industry conferences, architectural review and approval for “big ticket” projects, particularly new solutions, etc.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture
- Knowledge of data science and experience working with data scientists
- Working knowledge of various data related technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Spark, DataBricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- Expert in at least one development language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript/Node)
- Strong cloud native experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experiences of engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, ETL, building highly scalable applications and application security
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven secure software solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
- Excellent leadership skills and enjoys teaching/mentoring others
- Ability to manage own learning and contribute to functional knowledge building
- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior business and IT executives on technology decisions
