For This Client, Located In Gent, We Are Looking For a Java Back End Developer

Our client is the 3rd largest healthcare software company in the world.

As a Software developer specialized in Java EE, you will be part of the Connectivity team.

What You Will Be Doing
  • You develop the integration services between our own HIS/CIS system and other platforms within the hospital environment
  • You create enterprise applications for the healthcare sector that are used globally for more than 126 million patients
  • You will work on patient-related data and can ensure high quality software built to last
  • You work closely with the verification engineers within the team to guarantee proper integration tests
  • You will collaborate with different R&D teams in a distributed environment
  • You can embrace the Agile software development methodology: you deliver working software after each 2-week development cycle
What You Bring To The Table
  • You have a Bachelor- or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
  • You can handle a large and complicated code base
  • You have proven capability to get acquainted easily with a complex domain
  • You are comfortable expressing yourself within the team
  • You are fluent in English
Technical knowledge
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Java EE software development using Jenkins, Maven, Hibernate, JUnit and Rest
  • You are skilled in Java 8/11, JEE7, WildFly, Oracle SQL, Mockito, SVN
  • Ideally you have a knowledge of interoperability standards (IHE, HL7, FHIR)
