Description

As a .Net developer, you will become a member of our IT team. Together with your fellow analysts, developers and testers, you will be responsible for developing our in-house applications. You will be given your place in one of our teams strengthen us operationally from our long-term vision.

Your role as a developer at ECS:

  • You will develop new software for ECS applications in .NET and Angular.
  • Your tasks also include maintaining and extending existing applications and interfaces to customers and suppliers
  • You have an eye for detail that allows you to write robust and secure code within the defined software processes
  • You work on varied projects in which you convert complex business questions into scalable IT solutions
  • You are naturally eager to learn and willing to take on technical challenges from a constructive and iterative approach
  • You are an energetic and flexible go-getter who can work independently as well as in a team and are not afraid of hard deadlines
  • You take initiative, dare to think out of the box but still work in a solution-oriented way

Profile

  • Higher degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in .NET development
  • Good knowledge of:
    • C# .NET and front-end framework
    • MS SQL Server and TSQL.
    • ASP.NET Core
  • Broad general ICT knowledge, you understand how systems and networks work.
  • Within the ECS IT environment, we aim for cloud-native technologies where possible. You are familiar with the Azure platform or willing to familiarise yourself with it in the short term.
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English
  • We consider experience in the following areas as a bonus:
    • Kubernetes, Docker
    • Event Driven Architecture
    • Domain Driven Design
    • Affinity with the logistics/transport sector
