EBTS “European Breakdown Tire and Technical Services” is an ambitious and service minded company, independent and with a long tradition and history. EBTS Pro Assist provides mobility solutions in the international transport market. The company’s 24/7 service centre arranges breakdown services throughout Europe for a variety of customers: transport companies, tire manufacturers, fleet companies, OEMs and other. EBTS Pro Assist headquarters are located in Hasselt. The company has branches in Spain, France, Poland, Germany, Moldavia and Macedonia. In order to facilitate further growth EBTS Pro Assist has decided to create a new function and look for a Software Development Project Manager.

Function

  • Oversee the teams working on new developments like autobot, a web based customer application, automated telematics, apps,… as well as ongoing maintenance and migrations
  • Coordinate multiple projects in parallel in order to improve EBTS value proposition to the customers
  • Create a budget and timeline for the development projects with attainable goals
  • Translate requests, analyse demands, write scopes and participate in design control activities
  • Supervise and delegate duties to the development team and oversee each aspect of the development process
  • Do basic pre-release testing and ensure appropriate procedures and process documentation
  • Onboard and manage a team of new developers
  • Establish development standards for the team
  • Act as a liaison between your team and the upper management and deliver reports to the latter
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies.

Functie eisen

Profile

  • BSc or MSc degree in computer science, information technology or engineering
  • Preferably some time in a (project) leadership responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and able to switch quickly
  • Fluency in English, any other language (French, German, …) is an advantage.
