Who are we? IPS is an international company with inhouse Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries, Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise, more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.

Now, we are looking for a Civil, Structural Package Manager in our office in Nivelles. [With a strong experience in industrial environments, you will be able to carry out C&S design, review, management and -supervision for industrial projects.]

What is the role About?

Your relevant experience with dimensioning foundations and structures will allow you to assist in the execution and manage the full process, from analysis and design to the procurement and realization.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Perform detailed engineering of reinforced concrete and steel structures based on multidisciplinary design inputs.
• Identify and develop structural solutions for specific technical challenges, considering project design requirements, international standards, and budget constraints.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables such as design basis, structural calculations and analysis reports, formwork and assembly drawings, foundation designs, structural models, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare the technical specifications for the Civil/Structural scope of works for the project you will be responsible for, that will be used as the basis for the future negotiations with tendering Contractors.
• Delegate tasks to and supervise the IPS back-office team, ensuring efficient execution of detailed design and 3D modelling activities.
• Provide technical support to the project management team during procurement phases, including vendor evaluation and clarification processes.
• Participate in author supervision and contract management during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager on progress, risks, and technical issues.

As you are working in an international company, short international mobility is a requirement for missions abroad.

Who are you?

• You have an engineering degree (civil or industrial) in Civil and/or Structural field. Education and/or experience in structural engineering is a must.
• Between 4-10 years’ experience in Engineering projects. Experience in Industrial Engineering projects is a plus.
• At least 2-3 Years’ experience as Structural Engineer, a minimum structural experience is needed for this role. Expertise on other building utilities (fire protection, drains/sewage) are a plus.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, MS Projects, Autocad, Finite Element Modelling software (Preferably Robot).
• You are fluent in English and French. Dutch will be a plus.
• Up to 80% National travel availability. 20% international travel availability.
• Ownership in projects is required: you are able and willing to take initiative, work independently and you are also flexible for travelling and a team player.
