About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and motivated HR Student Assistant to support our local and group-level HR initiatives. Group HR is located in Denmark and we are looking for a person who can be our local representative in Genk. This part-time role is ideal for students who want to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting while contributing to meaningful HR projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Support: Assist with recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and other HR processes in collaboration with the Group HR Director.
  • Project Participation: Contribute to the optimization of group HR processes and support change management and cultural initiatives.
  • Employee Engagement: Help promote and follow up on engagement surveys and leadership activities.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and execute employee events such as joint lunches, seasonal celebrations, and family days.
  • Communication: Prepare local HR communications and ensure visibility of relevant materials on the intranet.

Who You Are

  • A student in HR, humanities, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own tasks.
  • A team player with the ability to apply a group approach
  • Fluent in English
  • Creative and practical – you enjoy organizing events and bringing ideas to life.
