Job description
As an intern, you will be part of a team of all-round finance professionals. You will be supporting the team with preparing financial and completing various finance projects while developing your skills.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • BE GAAP reporting and statutory compliance of the most significant legal entities, of which Janssen Pharmaceutica NV. This includes, but is not limited to, the annual accounts, the J&J annual report, statutory adjustments, quarterly analysis,...
  • Close collaboration with tax teams in preparation of the fiscal and tax declarations
  • Support in the preparation of the information provided to the Workers Council and the Board of Directors
  • Activities to support the financial close activities: processing journal entries, supporting internal and external audits, ...
  • Ad Hoc related projects

    qualifications:
    • bachelor/master education in accountancy/finance/economics (should not be completed yet)
    • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • high energy, open and flexible, results-oriented who can set and meet deadlines
    • fluency in dutch and english; other languages are an asset
    • adequate knowledge of microsoft office programs (word, excel, powerpoint)

    • practical details:
    • location: beerse due to covid-19 restrictions a partially virtual internship can be considered (partially working from home)
    • duration: minimum of 12 weeks (e.g. 3 days per week) - open for discussion
    • timeframe: january/february 2022 - may/june 2022 - open for discussion
    • allowance: we provide an allowance of € 20 per worked day, to cover for your daily expenses.
