The Vesuvius Flow Control & Advanced Refractories Marketing & Technology Excellence Centers are located in Belgium, France, China and the USA and focus on developing leading-edge core engineering technologies for use in the continuous casting process. These Centers have extensive development laboratories that are engaged in developing production equipment and technologies for customers. They incorporate multi-discipline teams specialized in: mechanical design, material modelling, mechatronics, plastic moulding, 3D design, research and other areas to achieve the best results.

To support this area of the business we are creating a new position of “Talent Acquisition Partner” based in Belgium, Ghlin (GH).

Purpose of the role:

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible to create and to execute Vesuvius GH talent acquisition strategy to meet the needs of our company. You use a consultative and proactive approach to build relationships with strong talents, strategically sourced talents, build Vesuvius’ employer brand in the industry, and ensure a swift-moving process throughout the entire Talent selection & Acquisition cycle.

To excel as Talent Acquisition Partner, we expect you to be experienced in the full cycle of recruiting and employment branding. You should have a sharp eye for talented people and a steady commitment to help them find success in our company.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

The position will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition strategy as follows:
  • Developing, managing, and ensuring the Talent Acquisition programs and strategies align with business goals
  • Build relationships with business leaders across the organization through education and execution of all steps of the recruitment process (recruitment evangelist)
  • Design, plan and execute Vesuvius’ employer brand overall, and in the same industry with a focus on candidate experience
  • Deliver the needs of the business in adherence with efficiency goals set together with the HR manager and aligned with HR VP and M&T VP
  • Design, plan and implement Workable, our Applicants Tracking System: make sure it is efficiently used amongst hiring managers
  • Design, create and implement the best hiring practices with at heart continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the coaching and development of recruiting peers through sharing knowledge and industry best practices (trainings, process design and implementation…)
  • Operate with a high level of expertise and independence in day-to-day tasks (interviews, screenings, coordination of recruitment process).
  • Enhance the recruiting experience for both internal business partners and external candidates.
  • Create talent pool and maintain great relationship with our potential talents, build pipelines and nurture them
  • Spread the word about Vesuvius through attending networking events, meet-ups, etc.
  • Work to improve upon existing programs and develop innovative strategies around finding our top talents
  • Showcase your passion for the industry. That means great knowledge about market, target companies, relationships…
  • Use Key Performance indicators to track the performance in the Talent Acquisition field and identify areas of improvement.

What you’ll bring:
  • Position requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Labor Law or Business Administration.
  • Five plus years Talent Acquisition experience with exposure to manufacturing, engineering or research teams across several Countries (France, Belgium, China and the USA preferred).
  • Proven experience as Talent Acquisition Partner with a strong experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing and employer branding.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Excellent communicator and strong leadership
  • A leader and strategic thinker when it comes to Talent Acquisition and HR matters
  • BSc/BA in business administration, human resources or relevant field
  • Excellent experience in Talent Acquisition management: sourcing strategy, process design and implementation with a focus on Employer branding and Candidate experience
  • Fluent in French and English.
