ING Commercial Finance Belux is an asset based finance department and is a full subsidiary of ING Lease Belgium.

ING ComFin offers factoring services to Midcorp and Corporate clients of ING Belgium, realized an impressive growth over the last 10 years and reinvented itself several times to keep one step ahead of market evolutions and client expectations.

To manage our future growth you could become part of and lead one of our dynamic teams. We are looking for a Team Leader Credit Management. You’ll lead a team of 7 Credit Management experts responsible for the handling and monitoring of our client’s B2B debtor portfolios.

Your key responsibilities

People management

• You lead the employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity and quality translated in KPI’s
• You are the mentor of new employees
• You are responsible for the employees’ performance feedback and evaluations
• You delegate the daily priorities (via daily whiteboard sessions, …)
• You report to the Operations Manager (reporting, dashboard,…)

Credit management

• You define the most efficient debt collection dunning strategy for our clients’ debtor portfolios
• You coordinate the continuity of the debt collection process
• You advice and support the team on complex files
• You represent the department internally (cross department alignments, …) and externally (insurers, clients, lawyers,…)

First line risk management

• Insolvency coverage: You are responsible for submitting claims to our credit insurer in a timely manner
• Portfolio monitoring: You are responsible for the debtor portfolio monitoring of Credit Restructuring files (CRU) and you are the alignment SPOC in direct contact with the CRU-department
• Collect out: You organize and coordinate the accelatered collection actions within the context of the collect out of investments on bankruptcy clients
• Anti-fraud controls: You coordinate the invoice verifications activities performed by the credit management department

As a Team Leader Credit Management you will also need:

• a bachelor degree (or equivalent through experience)
• credit management expertise
• credit insurance expertise
• people management skills
• organizational skills
• proactivity and flexibility
• a perfect knowledge of Dutch and French and a good knowledge of English
• advanced knowledge of Excel
• a out-of-the box vision within the context of continuous process enhancements
