Our team develops and maintains IT and business technology solutions for various KBC Group departments that work on the group level. You join us as part of the Group Risk – Market Risk team. At the moment, we are busy with the implementation of an Integrated Market and Counterparty Risk solution (IMCR). As our technical designer, you focus on making sure this runs smoothly.

This vendor-based solution replaces the solution we built ourselves. It involves a full redesign of our Risk Architecture for Counterparty Risk. We want to integrate our market-risk calculations into this tool to enable a better, more uniform process for both types of risk. This project is in thestart-up phase. It’s the ideal time to come on board.

• You create the technical design and coordinate technical tasks for the smooth implementation of the IMCR tool. We rely on you for software installations, end-to-end runs, and punctual delivery, in line with expectations.
• Thanks to you, the business and functional requests are implemented in a sustainable manner.
• You coach your technical colleagues to strengthen their expertise.
• You’re the point of contact for the vendor. If there are issues, you discuss them with the vendor.
• You maintain the end-to-end process after its successful rollout. You ensure that reporting is punctual, sustainable and of the highest quality. You also make sure that dealers can perform pre-deal checks with high SLAs.
• You build up good working relationships with the tool vendor, your colleagues, and the different business stakeholders. You challenge any limitations relating to timing, scope or budget.

• You have experience in the technical domains of Unix, Oracle DB, Perl, shell scripting and PowerCenter. Any experience or familiarity you have with UAC and UDM will be a bonus.
• You have experience with technical design and coordinating an end-to-end process together with a team. You have already worked together with technical infrastructure teams, data-delivery teams, and others.
• You quickly take ownership of our IT and business processes. It helps if you’re familiar with Scrum methodology.
• You’re looking forward to continuous learning, especially when it comes to integrations with Tomcat or IBM MQ. Colleagues from teams that are specialised in these areas will share their knowledge with you so you can become the point of contact for them in your own team.
