RESPONSILITIES

As a Technical Project Manager, you will have a crucial role in Septentrio R&D organization.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management Office, you will be responsible for the management of several key projects (innovation, technology building block or new product developments). You will manage scope and budget, balancing risk and time-to-market.

Acting as Scrum Product Owner towards the project team, you will own StageGates preparation and presentation in close collaboration with the Product Manager, R&D Director and Managers, Team Leaders and Lead Engineers.

You will coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors/partnerships during the complete project lifecycle, from contracting to delivery and acceptance.

You will report periodically on project status, measure project performance KPIs using company methods and tools, maintain comprehensive project documentation, suggest continuous improvements, manage change and escalate issues to management as needed.

YOU

  • You hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Geomatics, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have proven experience in Project Management within hi-tech industry including management of large projects. PMI and/or CMMI certification is a plus.
  • You have deep technical understanding capabilities allowing you to assess technical risk and to win respect from key experts and high potentials.
  • You’ve proven leadership and people management skills.
  • You’ve excellent internal/external and written/verbal communication skills.
  • You’ve solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • You’ve proven working experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, Scrum product owner or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • You’ve proficiency with Project management tools including but not limited to Atlassian suite, MS Project, …
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch, French and/or other languages are an asset.
