Tasks and Qualifications:
Requirements
  • You assist in determining the design requirements of the project or sub-project development that you are coordinating.
  • You are able to translate project requirements into specific concepts. You identify and meet with the necessary stakeholders to select the concept best suited to their needs. You are then able to develop the agreed on concept into a high quality solution.
  • You closely monitor the synergies between the engineering disciplines at your disposal, namely Mechatronic engineering, Software engineering, Production/testing, Application engineering, Projecting.
  • You understand the concept of prototyping, rapid production, testing, evaluation, engineering feedback and validation.
  • You pro-actively follow up budget and planning and alert the necessary people when problems arise. You minimize the impact of unexpected fallbacks. You assist engineers in doing the same.
  • You document and report in a fluent and consistent manner with attention to established tools and procedures

What we are looking for
  • Proven work experience of minimal 3 years in mechatronic automation field
  • Experience in Automated guided vehicle systems is an asset
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software and production engineering with advanced knowledge in one or more of these fields
  • Rapidly sketch ideas
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and to technical lead and small project team
  • Strong ambassador for decisions that have been taken
  • Educated on Master level in industrial engineering
  • Strong communications skills in English, both written and spoken. Dutch language skills are an asset
