We are looking for a Technical Support officer for an international company in Medical Devices, focused on Diagnostics.

Where will you work?

The EMEA Headquarters of a leading, innovative Medical Devices company, located in Zaventem.

What are your responsibilities as a Technical Support officer?

Depending on your language skills:

  • Strong level of Dutch + French
  • Strong level ofItalian + Spanish or French

You will support a different market (Benelux, France, Iberian markets, Italy):

As Technical Support officer, you are the trusted partner for customers (hospitals, labs, etc.).

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering outstanding first line support (remote) to end-users and guaranteeing a strong customer experience for technical and application issues related to Diagnostics devices.
  • Discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions and gathering all information required to do so.
  • Taking part in improvement initiatives to optimize processes and service delivery.
  • Performing troubleshooting, analysis of problems and timely proposition of solutions as well as next actions to be taken (such as intervention planning by engineers on site), while remaining compliant.
  • Ensuring a smooth customer experience by investing in clear, timely and constructive customer contact.

What do we expect from you as a Technical Support officer?

  • Very strong language skills in one of these combinations: ’Dutch, French & English’ or ’Italian, French & English ’ or ’Italian, Spanish & English’.
  • Ideally experienced in customer support position (Technical support, Customer Service, ...) and/or strong customer service and problem-solving skills/
  • A study background and/or experience in (Molecular) biology or in a Lab environment is a big plus!
  • Strong sense of adaptability in a fast paced, growing and changing environment.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, having a sense of initiative and a hands-on approach.
