You will be joining the Operational Excellence division. Our mission is to drive change and develop corporate capabilities enabling Euroclear Group and its people to become an increasingly effective, innovative, risk-aware and performing organization. We are acting as internal consultants, providing services across the Euroclear group. The Division includes the corporate centers of excellence on Change Management, Design Thinking & Facilitation, Business Process Modelling & Process Improvement, Lean Management & Continuous Improvement, and Group Program Management. Euroclear is generally seen and recognised as a leading organisation for continuous improvement and operational excellence in the service industry, and offers you the possibility to build up your experience on these topics by joining our OpEx division as Transformation Lead
As Transformation Lead, you will act as aexperienced internal consultant who combines result orientation, personal drive and a hands-on attitude with strong facilitation expertise and the soft skills to influence and coach people.
You will be responsible for:
- Solving complex transversal business challenges by using structured facilitation methods, remote (via a powerful digital set-ups), hybrid or on site. The complexity of these opportunities resides in the nature of the challenge, the number and seniority of people involved as well as the energy and skills required to design clear outcomes and pragmatic implementation plans, assure the buy-in on them and create unique business value by doing so.
- Demonstrating strong leadership that leads totangible resultson clearly scoped challenges, and engaging all stakeholders
- Bringing cohesion and coaching within engagements, being a mix of internal and external contributors, to foster strong working together
- Maintaining focus, transparency, enthusiasm and momentum, and installing a spirit oftrust and empowermentwithin the missions
- Contribute to the scaling up of our service offer on workshop facilitation & internal consultancy, including: forward looking roll out plan, manage current & future pipeline of work thru strong visuals and pro-active service development approaches, ensure concrete company value is created thru transparent benefit management
- Building facilitation capabilities and delivery capacity via a knowledge centre/academy and a growing community of skilled facilitators
- Actively driving and supporting the development of new knowledge around (esp. digital) facilitation & consulting techniques and looking for continuous improvements.
The successful candidate will have a great deal ofautonomy, and interact on a daily basis with several levels of management across Euroclear.
You will be exposed to a wide variety of topics, problems and domains and have a unique view on Euroclear Divisions (ranging from IT, HR, Commercial, Product, Finance to banking operations), its product offering and its strategic intentions.
Your profile:
Our ideal candidate has:
- Interpersonal skills: you easily work with people from different areas (Business, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Risk…) and with various profiles thanks to strong interpersonal skills (active listening, empathy, influencing). You steer working groups and you demonstrate strong capacity to manage a large variety of stakeholders.
- Facilitation skills:Experience in acting as facilitator (also in digital or hybrid set-up), abililty to guide senior audiences to valuable workshop outcomes: being client- and value-driven, technical savvy (O365 suite, Slido, MS Whiteboard & MS Teams,…), a relator, knows what matters
- Communication skills: your points are presented in a human centric and structured way and with empathy . You are able to communicate complex ideas in a simple and compelling way, both verbally and in writing.
- Consultancy skills:you have an unique ability to understand the expectations of the client, to diagnose, to problem solve and define a strategy of impactful actions towards real company value. You have good understanding of Design Thinking, continuous improvement and client experience principles, knowledge about Agile ways of working is an asset as well. You know which approach fits a certain purpose. You have the mindset to design & implement solutions keeping always the change management aspect in sight to ensure the sustainability of changes.
- Coaching skills:you are passionate about developing yourself and others. You are energized by and experienced in coaching people.
- Transparency: you are not afraid to voice your convictions and you aim to create transparency also in difficult situations. You are courageous. You continuously ask and provide feedback.
- Organizational skills: you develop coherent action plans, stating resources, timetable, milestones etc. You coordinate actions in a proactive manner and anticipate potential delays.
- Autonomy: You have very good autonomy, working independently with various stakeholders across divisions and geographies
- Analytical skills: you are able to decompose and structure complex changes into manageable packages while maintaining the focus on the overall objectives. You have a very good ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or professional designation preferred
- Minimum of 7 years with progressively more responsible experience ideally in a mix of project and change management, consulting or line management role
