We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant - Treasury Technology to reinforce our Treasury and Risk Consulting Team in Belgium, which acts as a Centre of Excellence in the global PwC network.

We are looking for a qualified individual who has solid expertise and a willingness to contribute to the further growth of our team in the following areas:

• Treasury technology transformations: strategy, selection & implementation of the Treasury Technology stack

  • Treasury Management Systems (TMS)

  • Payment Factories & Bank Connectivity / SWIFT

  • Other specialist treasury applications

• Digital treasury: including RPA, data analytics & visualisation and AI.

What you’ll learn and do

• Advise clients on the best-fit treasury technology strategy and landscape

• Guide clients in selecting the tools (e.g. TMS, PF, EBAM, others) that best match their requirements, leveraging market knowledge

• Support clients on their systems implementation journey: from design, to project management and implementation (including training, testing and go live support) across all treasury processes.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks within projects with the continuous objective to improve the way of working as well as the quality delivered

• Coach and supervise junior staff on the job

• Develop and lead business development initiatives aimed at maintaining and growing PwC’s position in the treasury systems consulting market
  

Who you are

You have

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in a corporate treasury, at a system vendor or in treasury consulting

• In-depth functional and/or technical knowledge of TMS, PF, surrounding systems and/or SWIFT and hands-on experience with key treasury systems.

• Expertise in leading treasury systems. FIS Quantum, Integrity and TRAX experience will be a strong value add.

• In-depth understanding of front, middle and back-office treasury processes and their system requirements

• Passionate about innovation in Treasury, leveraging emerging technologies: RPA, data analytics & visualisation, AI

• Strong project management and interpersonal skills: track record of solution ownership and experience as a lead consultant on a project

• A born team player who likes to take initiatives

• Fluent in English

Knowledge of the following would be an advantage:

• Expertise in trade finance processes and instruments, including experience with multi-bank trade finance platforms and SWIFT MT798 connectivity

• A good understanding of our other service offerings:

  • Cash & Liquidity Management

  • (Financial) Risk Management

  • Treasury Transaction Support (M&A, divestitures etc.)

• Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French

• Any specialist certification from ICC (GTC, CTFP) or an ACT certification (CertICM) is an asset
