Interested in Digital Banking?

Digital banking is shaking up the financial industry, its arrival signals the biggest shift ever in the way in which people manage their personal finances and it has captured the imagination of millennials becoming the first port of call for contact with their bank. Nevertheless, there is still a huge untapped market for these services as there remains a large percentage of consumers who do not have access to or perhaps simply don’t understand the benefits of digital banking. Looking ahead, the difference between competitors in the sector will increasingly be determined by the ability to create an intuitive user experience and a complete customer engagement offering, including personalised offers based on data analytics and smart usage of location-based data.

We are looking for a UX Designer to work for one of the biggest banks in Belgium. You are responsible from start to finish for UX research and UX design of digital processes, interfaces and customer communication from a customer / user perspective. You work on the basis of quantitative and qualitative data and on validated customer insights.

Your challenge

You will help in supporting project teams in delivering easy to use interfaces to the customer and efficient interfaces to employees to increase customer satisfaction. You are very user minded, focused on usability and are able to guide projects to delivering a good looking and user-friendly product.

Projects would be about GDPR, cookie, settings, Daily Banking and Mortgages.

You will:
Explore market trends and market evolutions.

Explore best ways to build superior user experience for the bank’s customers based on own expertise and supported by input gathered from the voice of the customer (Usability interviews – remote online testing, analysis and reporting – AB testing - …)

Gather feedback on every version of the design and set up alignment with the different internal stakeholders (squads, UX-UI designers, …).

Orient internal clients on the best way of structuring pages, placing functionalities, navigating between pages based on existing User Experience/Service design guidelines

Experience, skill and knowledge on the different research and usability techniques, prototyping software tools (Axure, Invision or equivalent) and remote online testing tools (UserZoom or equivalent). It is important to develop and expand this knowledge and make sure the latest evolutions and versions in tooling are followed and acquired.

Solid professional expertise, preferably in a B2B environment with strong view on consumers insights.

Proven experience in process design end-to-end

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Your are fluent in Dutch or French AND English.
