As a Vessel Procurement Coordinator you are the point of contact for all procurement related questions from the vessel and docking team. You will interface between the team and all other stakeholders and ensure the link between procurement and logistics. As part of an international team you will be working together on challenging technical projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for the Vessel / Docking team for all procurement related questions;
  • be the link between the Vessel / Docking team and the procurement department;
  • follow the Group Procurement methodology and templates as defined by the Group Procurement Director;
  • leverage available Framework Agreements;
  • responsible for strategic sourcing of items outside the defined group categories with focus on TCO optimization;
  • execute spot buys;
  • coordinate procurement activities for the Vessel, during the execution phase of projects, for First Fill and for Major Repair;
  • ensure that within the Vessel / Docking team the overall procurement process is being safeguarded by amongst others organizing the vessel procurement kick-off meetings, drafting the vessel procurement plan and supporting the setup of transactional procurement channels.

Your profile

  • Relevant bachelor degree;
  • at least 3 years of relevant experience or you are a pro-active fast learner;
  • performance- and result-oriented;
  • good communication and team working skills;
  • knowledge of procurement processes and tools;
  • fluent in English.
