The Warehouse Lead is the operational lead for a group of warehouse operators. His/her goal is to use excellent team spirit to coach the team to the best performance. The warehouse lead also performs operational tasks 40% of his/her time, helping the team with the proper handling of goods. Administrative tasks are also part of his/her job:
Providing operational leadership to a team
- Stimulating, motivating, developing, instructing and supervising his/her team members
- Responsible for work distribution within his/her team
- Supervises order and cleanliness
- Adjusts the work schedule based on the dynamic workload
Supporting in warehouse tasks
- Oversees the tasks of both incoming and outgoing goods
- Oversees the automated sorting process
- Supports in inventory taking
Administration
- Validates the arrival and departure of containers and trucks
- Prepares, verifies and signs CMRs and loading lists
- Oversees work planning throughout the work day
Relationship Management
- Builds network and maintains good relationships with suppliers as well as customers, logistics partners and other departments, participates in digital and face to face meetings
Requirements

Knowledge
- Knowledge of professional terminology in both Dutch and English to ensure smooth contacts with customers, suppliers (such as transport companies) and colleagues
- Familiar with different logistics concepts, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the WMS System
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of administrative and logistics processes
