Are you our new Linux Engineer?

Hosted Power is growing, and fast! That’s why we’re urgently looking for a Linux expert to help us run our own Turbostack cloud automation setup. This state-of-the-art solution, driven by Ansible, is being improved day by day to remain head of class when it comes to a performing and reliable hosting system. If you’re interested, we’ll set up a POC to prove it to you .
You will join our System and Operations team where you will support our customers and your direct colleagues. Hosted Power is a fan of cross-pollination of knowledge, so colleagues teach each other things and of course there are also the necessary trainings. After all, sometimes you are the student, sometimes the teacher! We do everything we can to keep our customers’ webshops or applications up and running, even during peak periods. Hosted Power has a flat structure, an open mind and good ideas; initiative and input are appreciated.

What are your superpowers?
You have/are:
    Already some miles on the counter when it comes to Linux (OS, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, ...)
    Not afraid of programming and/or scripting (PHP, Python, bash, ...)
    Love for container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, others...)
    The irresistible urge to debug when things run square
    Never enough of the open source community
    A can do mentality, even during moments of stress
    A customer-friendly attitude, the need to move the customer forward

    Social, good-natured and daring to color outside the lines
