Our client, active in the environmental sector, is actively seeking a General Management Assistant. In this role, you will assist the General Manager in carrying out his work.

You will be proactive in organizational and administrative matters, and assume a role of trust in which anticipation is essential.

Description

  • You ensure smooth and efficient diary management;
  • You are the central hub for internal communication and coordination of information between different departments and employees, and you respond continuously and rapidly to any changes in priorities;
  • You follow up, process, sort and distribute incoming mail and e-mails;
  • You organize the work in advance of various meetings, prepare documents and PowerPoint presentations, suggest improvements and ensure the drafting and follow-up of certain meeting reports;
  • You ensure the organization and logistical support of your department (equipment, reservations,
...) and meetings (room reservations, catering, preparation of documents, ...);

  • You are responsible for the pre-analysis of figures, you participate in the preparation and drafting of dossiers and you follow up the resulting actions;
  • You follow up on actions, files and events in progress, with rigor and thoughtfulness (you make appointments, contact internal and external parties, deal with
issues, etc.);

  • You are the first point of information for internal and external contacts, whether by e-mail, telephone or in person. You filter questions and comments. You welcome visitors with professionalism.
Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in secretarial studies, office management, management assistant, translator, etc., or equivalent experience of at least 5 years;
  • You have very good written and oral skills in French and Dutch. You have a sufficient command of English to communicate with international contacts;
  • You are able to work both as part of a team and independently. You are diplomatic in delicate situations;
  • You have the patience and desire to develop your expertise. You have the resilience to adapt to organizational and regulatory changes;
  • You have a sense of initiative and responsibility, and demonstrate a high degree of assertiveness and maturity;
  • You treat confidential information with discretion;
  • You work dynamically, quickly and rigorously, demonstrating responsiveness and proactivity;
  • You have a very good knowledge of current software and packages (MS Office, etc.);
  • You will work full-time, 40 hours/week.
