DataCamp is looking for a Marketing Associate! As a Media & Product Marketing team member, you are a jack of all trades. You’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Media & Product Marketing Team, launching new growth marketing initiatives, and overseeing DataCamp’s Social Media Channels.
You will collaborate closely with a team of content marketers, data evangelists, product marketing managers, and the broader commercial marketing team to drive organic growth on our Social Media channels across our various content franchises. Through these efforts, you will help amplify and share the narratives of our learners and organizations engaged in data upskilling and reskilling and, in the process, give voice to data upskilling pioneers across companies, industries, and personas.
This role is highly entrepreneurial, and you’ll be expected to contribute across the many different aspects of DataCamp’s content production pipeline.
This is an individual contributor role; here’s what you can expect as part of your day-to-day activities:
- Own the growth of DataCamp’s organic social channels across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, and more
- Monitor and analyze channel performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Engage with DataCamp’s learner community through organic social channels
- Create visually appealing assets and engaging copy for social channels, ensuring consistency with DataCamp’s brand voice and identity
- Collaborate with designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce high-quality social-first micro-content derived from webinars, podcast episodes, and more.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with overall marketing goals
- Assist the marketing team with ad hoc tasks, such as event coordination, email creation, content scheduling, and campaign support.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities that have an entrepreneurial twitch.
- Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills. Willingness to learn how to code in R, Python, or SQL.
- Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills (figma, canva, etc..).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working with video editors and designers and the ability to make high-judgment content decisions when providing feedback.
- Affinity with the data science space — and an understanding of the motivations behind learners and organizations using DataCamp to upskill.
- Have strong knowledge of the data science space
- Have strong design & video editing skills
In addition to joining a creative and international start-up, as a permanent employee you’ll enjoy:
- A very competitive salary and stock options
- An exciting job that will offer you technical challenges every day
- Flexible working hours
- International company retreats
- Conference and hardware budget
- Working with a great team (everyone says this, but we’re serious—we’re pretty great)
