What Joining The Microsoft Team MeansWe are looking for a B2B Integrated Marketing Communications specialist to join our Belux Central Marketing Organisation in the Industry Marketing Manager role.
Our Central Marketing Organization (CMO) drives digital marketing transformation, planning and execution in the Subsidiary. CMO develops go-to-market campaigns based upon data-driven marketing insights, leveraging global customer nurture programs, local events and social marketing engagement all through world-class marketing operations. CMO partners with our sales teams across all customer and partner segments and prioritized industries, as well as product-focused marketing teams and the communications department.
The Industry Marketing Manager (IMM) role owns the Integrated Marketing Plan aligned to sales & marketing plays, and drives new lead generation and consumption plans in line with the priorities within our key industries. The IMM leads local integrated marketing planning discussions with local stakeholders and executes locally with support of the sales teams and external agencies. As a data-driven marketer, you leverage marketing insights dashboards to surface opportunities, drive marketing planning decisions, and lead connected sales and marketing discussions to optimize customer journeys.
You champion how we successfully engage the Industry Business Decision Maker (BDM) audience at scale through Industry relevant narratives and marketing programs designed to support prioritized verticals in your Subsidiary. As an Industry go-to-market expert, you ensure marketing execution is optimized to achieve local business goals and inspire our customers to significantly advance in their Digital Transformation journey.
Responsibilities
THE IMPACT YOU’LL BE MAKING
As The Industry Marketing Manager You Will
Develop marketing plans to acquire & nurture leadsandgrow consumption in key industries
- Understand the audience, market, and competitive landscape to build the local go to market plan
- Develop and execute the integrated marketing plan to deliver on Industry Sales priorities.
- Leverage and localize global and regional programs, positioning, messaging, and content. Provide local feedback and insights to Area HQs marketing stakeholders.
- Continually optimize performance across the marketing mix and provide insights and opportunities to Sales.
- Leverage Area HQ to land execution across events and owned social media channels
- Ongoing engagement with Sales teams to surface opportunities and drive account based marketing activities
- Work with our Partner organization and ecosystem to align marketing activities and incorporate relevant partner solutions into the Industry Plans
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Ideal Applicant Will Have
- Ideally 5+ years of B2B marketing experience (preferably in Industry marketing)
- Embracing data-driven marketing & marketing automation concepts
- High level of accountability and energy to drive things forward, ability to get things done. Can-do attitude, growth mindset
- Leadership presence, experience working with Sales management and a proven track record of marketing impact is key
- Solid experience of cross-group collaboration and contributing to team success. Experience in working at a large global multinational and/or Technology or Consulting company a plus
- Thriving in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
- Native language skills in either Dutch OR French, with knowledge of the other
- Fluent, business level English
