In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. We’re looking for a passionate marketing intern to join our team at the headquarters here in Kortrijk. At Edgard & Cooper, the marketing team are our creative pet foodies, the gate keepers of the brand, ensuring our Edgard & Cooper ethos is embodied within our products whilst developing the pull and push strategies to drive success.

What will be in your bowl? ????
MARKETING
As a marketing intern, you will be a great support to the Senior Brand Manager BENELUX in Belgium. You will have your own responsibilities and projects.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Is Instagram basically your second home? Do you think in memes, reels, and viral trends? Then you might just be the perfect fit! Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to flood Belgium and the Netherlands with amazing influencer content, making sure Edgard & Cooper is the only pet food brand people and their four-legged friends ever want to talk about.
Here’s what you’ll be up to:
???? Influencer Hunting & Deal-Making – You’ll track down the best content creators, slide into their DMs, and negotiate win-win deals that get tails wagging. Your goal? Generate a ton of organic content that not only brings in new pet parents but also fuels our digital team’s paid campaigns.
???? Briefing & Follow-Up – Once the deal is sealed, you’ll guide influencers on how to create content that perfectly matches our brand vibe: fun, engaging, and most importantly, pet-approved. You’ll ensure they know exactly what to do, what not to do, and follow up to make sure everything runs smoothly.
???? Content Performance Reporting – You’ll track how well all that content is performing, put together weekly reports, and help us understand which posts are turning pet lovers into lifelong fans. Did a reel go viral? Did a doggy influencer bring in a wave of new followers? You’ll be the first to know and share the insights.
OTHER
We’re a fast-growing start-up company - life is full of surprises, so we might throw in some other commercial, creative and fun stuff to do.
What skills & tricks should you bring? ????
- You love pets, of course!
- You are a hungry marketing genius looking for a new challenge
- You are available for at least 3 months as from mid-May ideally
- You are still enrolled in a university or business school and you are studying towards a Master’s Degree, or you have finished your Master’s Degree and you’re looking for a first working experience as an intern
- You have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
- You have good time-management skills with a problem-solving and “can do” attitude
- You know how to handle MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. Speaking French is a bonus!
- Having other marketing-related experiences is a real plus!
