We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Managerfor our Mid Size Markets cluster to join our high performing organisation. For this role you will be based in our Westerlo office in Belgium.
About The Role
In this role you will report to the Head of EMEA Marketing, and you will lead the strategic and tactical execution of all marketing communications to achieve business objectives in the cluster (Belgium, Austria, UK and Ireland).
You will be accountable for growth objectives for assigned products and managing spending within defined budget limits
As an experienced people leader, you will lead and develop the current team of 3 to continue to deliver an outstanding performance year on year.

Responsibilities Will Include
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure that voice of customer is accurately considered in the development and execution of Sales Cycle brand plans.
- Proactive in analyzing the market opportunities, developing market research and innovative promotional activities to support the OneTouch portfolio of blood glucose monitoring and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with Medical/Clinical, Professional Relations, Sales leaders, Sales training; Global marketing team and regional marketing teams to drive business growth and great, implementable initiatives
- Interfaces with creative agencies and particularly with production and localization agencies to ensure effective development and readiness of materials for markets
- This position will be responsible for coordinating local claims development, copy clearance and tracking of all materials
- Execute local HCP congresses
- Oversee marketing team of direct and indirect reports.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified with strong experience and flair in brand marketing in the medical device industry. To fit with this high performing team you will be dynamic, creative, proactive and willing to challenge the status quo together with:
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare professionals - Endocrinologists, generalists, pharmacists and their relationships with patients and sales representatives
- Experience in retail and DTP marketing
- Familiarity with digital marketing (CRM, digital media, website)
- Understanding of digital therapeutics and digital products in diabetes category
- Marketing / Sales / Sales Training experience in a customer facing role
- Understanding of competitive landscape and regional go to market models
- Demonstrated ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Realistic understanding of the Healthcare Professional – Endo, GP, Pharmacist and their relationships with patients and LifeScan representatives
- Experience managing creative agencies to deliver stand out results
- Demonstrated ability to manage matrix across functions, and between global & local, to deliver strong results
- Strong project management skills
- Fluency in English, German and Flemish (French is a plus)
