This is a place where you can make a world of difference.Follow Us on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/donaldson/IntroductionThe role of the Specialist Marketing Communications - Vehicle Electrification & Medical Devices is to develop the marketing strategy including marketing plan, campaigns and collateral development for the Vehicle Electrification & Medical Devices business unit. The role will determine the marketing channel strategy, budget allocation and coordinate with the Marketing Operations team on regional execution.This position will be based in our EMEA HQ in Leuven (Belgium), with the possibility to work 3 days a week from home.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the marketing strategy in conjunction with global stakeholders
- Develop the an annual marketing plan and budget to support strategy and objectives
- Develop and manage campaigns and promotional activities with regional execution teams
- and ensure all elements are executed on time and within budget
- Align with Product Development and Engineering teams to develop marketing plans and resources for the launch of new products as well as Marketing Operations for regional execution
- Manage the development of marketing support material for sales representatives
- Develop social media plan and coordinate with the team on scheduling
- Work with the team on trade shows, exhibition and conference opportunities as required, including the development of online events and materials such webinars and interactive content
- Track, monitor and report marketing expenditure on a monthly basis
- Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Manage the development and production of marketing collateral including literature, product profiles, product bulletins, sales presentations, online resources and advertising materials as, working with regional execution teams on printing and distribution as required
- Work with the Brand, Communications and Public Relations lead on the development of media releases, customer testimonials and case studies, as well as alignment of brand identity and tone of voice
- Work with third party providers and agencies for services, such as advertising, printing, multi-media services and graphic design etc, where necessary
- Ensures that brand is well represented and design guidelines are adhered to in all marketing campaigns and collateral
- Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing or equivalent through experience
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with colleagues up, down and across the Donaldson organization.
- Ability to manage the competing priorities of different stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to develop and deliver presentations competently.
- Ability to work effectively with a field-based sales team.
- Well organized, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, and with good time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Marketo, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
- Fluent English communication. (written and spoken)
- Demonstrates the One Donaldson leadership qualities (Develop, Collaborate, Innovate, Achieve, Grow)
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in a similar role
- Experience working for a Multinational B2B organization is highly desirable
- Experience with video, multimedia and digital content creation systems is preferable
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
