Job description

To reinforce our team of consultants in West-Flanders, we are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (Expert) to develop our new production systems for our HC products . Your main responsibilities will be:
  • From setting up new production cells with robotics, motion & vision systems, introduction of new products to continuous improvement of existing processes
  • You will also work closely together with R&D to review their designs and provide your inputs, so the products are producible in the most efficient way possible
  • You will have a variety of tools & methodologies at your disposal: Creo (incl. creo simulate, Flo EFD,…), 3D printers, proto-workshops, worldwide suppliers
  • You will be part of a team of young and more seasoned Engineers which will support you to get you up to speeds as soon as possible

Have you got what it takes?

  • You have with preference at least 8 years of experience with mechanical engineering, mechanical design and automation and related processes
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience with CREO
  • You have experience in a production environment
  • You have a broad knowledge of FMEA, DFA, DFSS
  • You are an inquisitive, independent team player who can work in a project-based manner and who can handle stress well
  • You are a fluent communicator in Dutch
