Job Description

Together with a multidisciplinary project team, you develop Avionics or Defense displays, consoles, and network products from concept to delivery.

Your responsibilities:

  • You design and implement technical solutions, such as mechanical CAD designs.
  • Based on customer specifications, you identify changes to standard displays and produce cost-effective designs to meet the customer’s requirements within budget and schedule.
  • You work closely with the marketing department, project team, operational final assembly team, and service team.
  • You apply your mechanical engineering knowledge and understanding of mechanical principles, materials, production methods, and processes.
  • You are involved in hands-on troubleshooting of production assembly issues and environmental testing problems.

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • You hold a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design, or an equivalent qualification through experience.
  • You have knowledge of mechanical CAD, specifically Creo Parametric 4.0 or higher, or you are willing to learn it.
  • You have knowledge of Windchill PLM, or you are willing to learn it. You have experience with thermal (FloEFD) and structural (Creo Simulate) simulations, or you are willing to learn.
  • You possess excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
  • You think creatively about solutions, take initiative, can easily deliver presentations, and efficiently manage your time across multiple projects.
  • You are fluent in Dutch.
