The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the design, testing, and optimization of high-performance machinery used in agriculture, construction, and industrial applications. You’ll work with advanced hydraulics, powertrains, and automated systems to develop innovative and efficient solutions.

Your Responsibilities

✅ Design & optimize mechanical components for agricultural and industrial machinery, including frames, hydraulics, and drive systems.

✅ Develop and refine designs using CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).

✅ Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to validate designs under extreme conditions.

✅ Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and component durability.

✅ Work with hydraulic systems, gear transmissions, and electric powertrains to enhance machine performance.

✅ Support field testing teams with real-world performance analysis of new machinery.

✅ Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

✅ Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, CE, EU safety regulations).

What We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

✔ Experience in agricultural, construction, or industrial machinery design.

✔ Strong knowledge of hydraulics, power transmission, and mechanical systems.

✔ Proficiency with CAD software (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).

✔ Experience with welding, CNC machining, and sheet metal design is a plus.

✔ Understanding of ISO standards and EU safety regulations.

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Fluent in Dutch or English (French/German is a plus).
