Objectives

To bring Mobility to the next level, Arval is hiring local Mobility Senior Leaders in the main countries

He / She will report to the General Manager of the country, manage a small team while relying on a much broader team within the organization, and have a functional link to the Mobility Director at Corporate Center.

Responsibilities

The Mobility Senior leader of Arval Belgium is responsible for the success of all initiatives and products regarding Mobility, on all channels, including car sharing & micro-mobility sharing, and MaaS / Mobility as a Service. He / She has the P&L responsibility of all Mobility activities.

The Mobility Senior Leader aims at the following:

1. Reach Arval BE business ambitions on Mobility : Plan 2022-2025

2. Ensure the best mobility products for all segments and design the best in class customer experience, with strong use cases together with Consulting

3. Innovate & Investigate new partnerships in the mobility field for local or global partnerships

Activities

The Mobility Senior leader is responsible for the following activities:

• Lead the initiative locally in strong cooperation with all functions : Marketing, Consulting, Sales, Retail, HR, Global Operations, Risk,…
• Central point on all Mobility topics :
  • Understands markets, regulation, existing products and competition
  • Responsible for the strategy, development and commercial/financial success of mobility, for all segments
  • Develops the current mobility organization with the appropriate sales, marketing, and digital skills that supports business growth ambitions
  • Identify the right contact persons at our clients, creates the traction to push mobility products & services, sales action plan ; actively support the Sales on Mobility deals, including the local coordination between teams for multi-country deals (IBO)
  • Ensure Arval IT support and other interfaces with all internal departments to secure buy-in to and achievement of business objectives
  • Supports change management at Arval, shifting from a business model focused on cars to a wider business model centered on USERS
• Demonstrate the Mobility business model: while analyzing competitive environment and business results he / she will suggest and lead adjustments to the value proposition, improve customer experience, review competitive pricing.
• With HR, pushes mobility usage by Arval & BNPP employees locally : providing bike lease to employees, access to car sharing, MaaS, mobility budgets … to support use cases
• In strong cooperation with pricing, set the pricing strategy and policy
• Develop the relevant partnerships including OEMs, start-ups, ….
• Innovate: we want Arval to lead the market and be a key actor of Mobility
• Strong contribution to the Arval Mobility Steerco with Comex and international mobility community
• Regularly reports to Group Mobility Director the evolutions of the business

Your profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing
• Knowledge of the automotive sector with a strong appetite for mobility-related topics

• Proven strong ability to drive transformation within teams ; pioneer - will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution
• International experience and good knowledge of European markets / English professional
• Problem-solving ability, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Teamwork, active listening, influence and leadership, highly motivated
• Customer focus, open, curious, enthusiastic, open and collaborative style
• Pragmatic, rigorous, analytic, focus on actions and deliverables
• Strong communication skills are expected to accelerate go to market and also contribute to an international community
• Will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results.
