Avanade is looking for a Modern Workplace System Engineer who will support one of our clients in their Modern Workplace transformation.

About you

You’re a natural communicator who wants to help our partners on their Modern Workplace journey. Your interpersonal and communication skills help technical and non-technical clients engage with often complex information.

What you will do

As a system engineer, you will support the client’s operations and engineering team in multiple projects such as:

Setting-up Team Meeting rooms
*
File migration project
*
Supporting Citrix-VDI implementation
*
Roll-out workstations
*
Staging workstations
*
Testing hardware and software compatibility
*
Optimizing network architecture and infrastructure

Next to the project work, you will also be in close collaboration with these respective teams to support them in their daily operational work, assisting in troubleshooting more in-depth issues, providing guidance and advice for structural changes to recurring problems.

Hardware installation and configuration

Beside this, you:

Are experienced with Modern Workplace and are motivated to help our clients in this journey.

Are proficient in Dutch and English.
*
Have good knowledge of French.
*
Know how to build and maintain relationships with different parties (clients, colleagues, …).
*
Are a natural communicator: guiding and helping others understand certain (technical) concepts is an easy task for you.
*
Have excellent troubleshooting skills and always look for the best solution.
*
Know how to work in a team, while also being confident in working independently.

Some nice to haves are certificates on:

Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
*
Microsoft 365 Security Administrator (MS-500)
