Hobson Prior is seeking a MSAT USP Process Engineer. This role involves supporting existing manufacturing processes, identifying and implementing process improvements, and using data analytics to gain additional process knowledge.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Support existing manufacturing processes by monitoring and trending data.
  • Generate scientific/technical study protocols and reports to support significant changes.
  • Support investigations and assess the impact on the process/product when there are significant deviations to the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield or robustness, using digital initiatives and deep process understanding.
  • Use modeling and data analytics to support investigations, monitor data, improve processes, and gain additional process knowledge.

Key Skills &Requirements:

  • A PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
  • Experience in process development or similar functions.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture processes at lab and/or manufacturing scale; experience with purification processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
