INTRODUCTIE

We are currently helping our client in their search for a Network Design Engineer.


FUNCTIE

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Network Infrastructure Design Role (Network Readiness for Operations)
  • Ensure alignment with IT Operations standards
  • Hardware (Manufacturer, model, firmware) (e.g. Cisco, …)
  • Software (version / patch level)
  • Configuration standards (naming, access credentials, parameters)
  • Receive handover from project team (many small handovers)
  • Manage IP schema
  • 3rd level operations support during Construction
  • Monitoring
  • Support SIP activities (operations)

FUNCTIE-EISEN

  • Knowledge of Cisco platforms and products
  • Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
  • Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of VOIP CISCO systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and hand-on with network protocol, including TCP/IP, BGP, HSRP, NSRP, STP, RSTP, SIP, VLAN, OSFP, MPLS, NAT, SNAT, SNMP, SMTP, DHCP, Wireless, 802..
