Overview

This individual will work closely with the IT Security team to identify potential security threats and implement solutions to mitigate those threats. Participate in both daily operations and projects with tasks related to managing the global network and all its components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and network security, network protocols, and experience with Network router and switching as well as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and other security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor firewall systems to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of the network infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement solutions to address those vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support to end-users to ensure they are following network & security best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement network and security solutions and ensure the security of the overall IT network infrastructure including network access control, firewall systems, and remote access.
• Maintain and monitor network systems to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Responsibility to troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall related issues and working closely together with other infrastructure teams in getting issues resolved in a timely maner.
• Support our various network equipment and network related systems. e.g., Routers, Switches, ISE, DNAC, SDWAN, Firewalls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Or equivalent due years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network and network security administration.
• Strong knowledge of network and routing protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and other network and security technologies
• Any Cisco and/or Palo Alto certifications is a plus.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques
• Ability to conduct security audits and implement solutions to address vulnerabilities.
• Ability to conduct network audits and implement best practices.
• Mastering the English language is a must, any other languages are a plus.
• Due the Global nature of our organization we need to meet and work with our colleague’s cross region, which brings us back to the flexibility in working hours as well.
• Due the Global nature of our organization and despite most support can be provided remotely, the function does not require travelling to our various locations.
