To support its expanding activities DEME Concessions is looking to strengthen its team with a Commercial Contracts Manager for green hydrogen. The Contracts Manager will be working on international hydrogen projects (“Deme Hyport®” concept) and be involved with multidisciplinary project development teams. He reports to the Senior Business Development Manager and the General Manager Green Hydrogen. The candidate must have a desire to work in international teams and have attention to detail. The candidate will be expected to be flexible in terms of location and projects, and will need to travel frequently on a fly-in/ fly-out basis.

Your responsibilities
- Negotiation and structuring of Power Purchase Agreements in the field of full value chain green hydrogen projects in Europe, MENA and beyond
- Negotiation and structuring of green hydrogen/green ammonia, green methanol and other derivative offtake contracts for all DEME Green Hydrogen projects
- Any other system relevant utility contracts
- The adequate reflection of purchase- and offtake contract particulars in DEME’s financial evaluation tools
Your profile
- Minimum 10 years post-graduation work history
- University degree in a technical/ scientific field, complemented with an economic expertise through an MBA or alike, or relevant experience in finance
- University degree major in finance or economy or similar through experience or an MBA, complemented with affinity for engineering
- Affinity for renewable energy production and understanding of green hydrogen (derivatives) value chain (from wind and PV power to green molecules)
- Demonstrable expertise in power markets and commodity purchase/sale contracts
- Excellent in business English
- Dutch- or other secondary language proficiency is an asset
- Affinity with renewable energy production
- Excellent analytical skills, rigor, creativity with regards to elaborating and providing solutions
- Curiosity and intellectual mobility, willingness to apply the acquired previous expertise and open mindset
- Willingness to explore/prospect local regulations, market parameters and local and international Energy Market to develop a local value chain model in support of negotiations
- Willingness to travel with respect and understanding for different cultures
- Ability to work together as a team
- Tenacity, and willingness to succeed
- Very good communication skills and transparency
- Well organized and capable of handling multiple projects
- Autonomous, pro-active with initiatives and decision making
- Ability to listen
