Now you can help us to plot a course into the future of maritime engineering on your DEME journey as an operational buyer.

Your responsibilities

As an operational buyer, you’re the living link between our engineers and projects, and the supply chain that supports them. Your job is all about building a network of reliable, innovative and financially stable supplier partners. Through diligent project planning, you ensure our projects get the resources they need.

To keep the challenge going, you’ll also work across functional departments to continuously improve DEME’s end-to-end supply chain and make sure that it meets our high standards for safety, sustainability, price competitiveness, product quality, delivery performance, to name a few.

Your profile

• You’re fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch & other languages is an asset
• You have good knowledge of MS Office Excel and Powerpoint, knowledge of other software suites and reporting tools works to your advantage.
• You’re a team player with a positive attitude, hands-on mentality and high level of integrity.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are keen to take responsibility for improvements in sourcing and policy.
• You’re excited to work in a dynamic and international environment.
• Taking ownership of your projects and responsibility for their results excites you.
