Our people are our most valuable asset. To support and reinforce our Finance team we are looking for a Operations Controller.

Job Purpose

Responsible for Manufacturing controlling within the Operations Division. Closely cooperate with plant and regional controllers in the periodic consolidation of analysis and reporting

Strong right hand of Manufacturing VP

Responsible for the consolidation of a number of key Divisional topics e.g. DBM & Capex

Main responsibilities and key tasks

Analyse operational & financial data and translate these into timely, structured, standard and comprehensible reporting & analyses for both the country teams as well as the Group Operations divisional team

Control, interpret, challenge and clearly communicate country reports to the appropriate levels within management

Report on historic and planned Capex and other projects

Take an advisory role in identifying business opportunities together with Plant Managers and Controllers to be translated into financial goals and report actuals against these

Serve as a business partner and adviser to Manufacturing VP’s and to other members of the leadership team. Contribute to the evolution, execution and delivery of the budget.

Deliver active financial support to strategic planning process, develop financial models and simulate multiple scenarios for business opportunities and special projects

Job Requirements

Master degree in Finance, Economics sciences, Management or an equivalent experience in a Financial or controlling department

A minimum of five years of experience within the Finance function - in a similar role or an analytical function -, solid trajectory within manufacturing or operations controlling areas

Excellent people and communication skills, good team spirit

Driven, constructive, analytical, perseverant person

A passionate, high-energy team player

Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is a must, knowledge of other language is a plus

IT literacy, knowledge of SAP and SAP-BI is a plus. Microsoft Office skills (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibility for continuous, reliable and consistent financial support to strategic and operational decision making.

Participation in the strategic development process and implement strategies approved by the Board (Group and Local).

Responsible for appropriately and accurately reflecting the financial impact and effect of strategic decisions in the development of the budgets, forecasts and other key performance indicators

Operational responsibility for effective support and control final submission of budget and forecasts in a timely, accurate and effective manner and clearly communicating these to appropriate audiences.

Responsibility to deliver to and ensure buy-in from Group’s strategic priorities within the Team and to support all budgetary and other targets as well as key performance indicators.
