This profile will be in line with the approach NTT is implementing in its managed services offering.
In addition to managing the team, he or she will also coordinate with the other IT teams and carry out the team’s administrative tasks.
The Operations Manager will operate all kind of operational requests and issues coming from UCB. He/she will have a helicopter view on the overall technology scope and the services being delivered.
The activities of the Operations Manager are including, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that the appropriate technical resources are assigned whenever Incidents or Problems need to be solved or whenever Changes need to be implemented.
- Ensure that all the requests are dealt with in a timely manner and in conformity with the SLA.
- Manage UCB Change Management and assist/support CAB process.
- Takeover proactive monitoring. Fine tune process and tools if needed.
- Prepare operational action plan and regularly report on these.
- Ensure the technical escalations follow-up and communication between the involved parties.
- Ensure that procedures and operational manuals are documented, and periodically review the processes.
- Ensure that processes of UCB are properly followed within operations.
- Gather information from UCB IT internal teams.
- Liaise with UCB Business, when needed.
- Find information where it is needed.
- Take in charge the administration’s tasks for the team:
- Presence,
- Timesheets,
- Planning,
- Onboarding of new consultants
- Planning and organization of recurring operational meetings:
- SLA review meeting
- Review meeting operational (ORM)
- He/she will be a very good communicator.
- Maintain a productive and collaborative relationship between UCB and NTT.
- Take advantage of NTT’s expertise in the provision of services and deliver services whose definition and performance comply with UCB’s specifications and expectations.
- Develop and maintain an environment of mutual respect and trust between all stakeholders.
- Be proactive in planning, identifying, and resolving problems, and managing change.
- Be initiative-taking in evaluating, proposing, and implementing potential service improvements.
- Maintain excellent communication and facilitate services, to keep UCB and NTT aligned on the expectations and values to be delivered.
- Ensure the ability to establish and apply:
- Decision-making principles and responsibilities.
- Performance monitoring and reporting.
- Strategy, innovation, and optimization in relation to the services provided.
- To support UCB as much as possible in defining technological choices and innovation so that the infrastructure best supports its activities.
In addition, he/she will have the skills required by UCB, as evidenced by the resume provided.
