Belgium Parcels Service (BPS)has been present on the transport market for more than twenty-five years, and its main activities are the distribution of Courier parcels within 24 hours in Belgium and Luxembourg (BPS Belux24), and in 24 to 48 hours to Holland, France and Germany (BPS Transborder). BPS is therefore the ideal partner for the transport of your daily goods. The mission:

In order to cope with significant growth in our activities we are looking for a Manager for our Zaventem delivery center to assist our C.C.O. in the day-to-day management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a large fleet of trucks and vans and, with the help of our dispatchers and warehousemen, you will supervise the daily departure of our delivery rounds. Based on volume forecasts and in coordination with dispatching, you plan the number of vehicles needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Select new subcontractors and check the conformity of their vehicles and administrative documents. You also provide theoretical training for new drivers and carry out their annual appraisals. In collaboration with our Responsible Pharmacist (PR), you will also monitor all GDP (Good Distribution Practices) procedures.
• Be responsible for the daily follow-up of the various operational reports and act as the link between our customer service department and our drivers on the road.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport & Logistics or with equivalent training.
• At least 5 years of experience in the road transport sector and various administrative regulations regarding to the sector.
• Bilingual in French and Dutch. English C1.
• Comfortable in human management.
• Proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, Word, etc) and IT Logistics tools.
• Flexible and resilience to stress
• Valid Driving license.
