Siemens Gamesa is embarking on an exciting journey: we are transforming our entire operational HR set-up globally. Therefore, our HR department is looking for an experienced Payroll Professional to be a part of this journey.

We need to radically simplify the way we provide services to our business ensuring that payroll is always accurate. This role will be integral as we move seamlessly away from our current payroll model to a new global one.

How To Contribute To Our Vision

You are expected to provide support on a wide range of general HR topics to employees and other relevant stakeholders from all business divisions and within the HR function. You will also be responsible for daily operations of the payroll of Denmark’s assigned countries. Currently these countries are: The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden (which oversees Lithuania), Finland, Belgium, and Turkey.

You can be based in any of the assigned countries and will work closely with the Head of HR Service for the assigned countries and with the external payroll and HR services provider during the transformation and afterwards within the daily operations.

Interest in payroll structures across borders is key as you will manage new country payroll implementations and ensure that all legislation is met and that Siemens Gamesa comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising local and global HR service organization as well as outsourcing partners on needed actions.

You will implement, maintain and update payroll processes and data. This means that you will be managing payroll system and provide support to the wider business; check payroll accuracy & be a point of contact for all internal & external queries.

You will ensure a high quality of HR Services for the full HR life cycle of processes from hire to retire (e.g. Workforce Administration, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Performance etc.). Furthermore, you will process and coordinate incoming inquiries and respond to general HR questions.

What You Need To Make a Difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

In order to succeed in this position, you have a passion for working with HR processes, payroll processes and preferably knowledge about payroll legislations in other countries. Therefore, international working experience is an advantage and recent payroll experience from at least some of the assigned countries is highly valued. You must be able to quickly learn country specific regulatory and legal requirements that impact the business.

You preferably have a University degree in business administration, finance, HR, with a certification in payroll. You have experience working with HRIT cloud solutions.

As a person you are detail oriented, can meet deadlines and enjoy and have experience working with IT systems such as Excel, Payroll Software and Integration Software. User knowledge of Workday is an added advantage.

You must be quality driven and have an analytical approach to problem solving and a “can do” attitude. You are self-motivated and independent as well as team oriented. It is important that you can set priorities and follow them.

You also have great communication skills that enable you to interact seamlessly with colleagues as well internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you must have proven stakeholder management skills to be able to deal with a wide variety of people, locally and regionally.

Handling confidential and sensitive information is part of the job and it is important that you respect this responsibility in trustworthy fashion.
