Our client is a successful healthy and very fast growing technology company in the niche market of software for service management and business processes. They developed a powerful business process and service management platform that is an innovator in Enterprise Service Management, IT Service Management and Business Process Tracking tooling.

The company’s activity consists of continuously adapting the designed software application to the customer’s needs and thus implementing it, educating and training IT professionals of the customer environment in the product, and providing continuous follow-up to the internal IT department on field of new releases.

Job Description :

  • You will work pleasantly and efficiently with your clients, from your home office, from our client’s office near the railway station in Leuven, or from the client’s offices for specific meetings and events;
  • You will give demos. This means you will prepare detailed demo scenarios based on the prospect, customer or marketing department needs. When preparing your demo, you won’t mind doing basic parametrization of the out-of-the box environment. You need to feel comfortable enough to give these demos both virtual and onsite. These demos might be recorded for marketing purposes. Therefore, you will be giving them fluently, either in English or Dutch;
  • From time to time, you will prepare and give a technical presentation to a prospect or customer about a specific technical subject such as integrations, automations, artificial intelligence or the chatbot solution. Since you have a technical background, this is within your comfort zone;
  • As a Technical Account Manager, you need to be also commercial minded. You will be answering tenders or RFP’s, together with the sales team. You will answer requirement questions and make estimations for the budgets. You will also create quotations. This might be a license pricing calculation but also a rather complex quote, which is not a problem for you.

Requirements :

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience;
  • You are interested in Low Code Development, IT Service Management processes and/or automation processes;
  • You have a background as presales or technical account management in complex software, or a background as a developer or customizer who wants to move more towards (pre)sales;
  • You are not afraid to give a demo or a technical presentation to a customer or prospect;
  • Being ITIL certified is a plus, having BPMN knowledge is a plus;
  • Your daily work will vary a lot, so you are a flexible person. In addition, you are willing to learn continuously;
  • You work accurate and you care about details, you can work independently and you take ownership, but you are also a team player. You don’t have a 9-to-5 mentality;
  • Our client is not looking for a sales profile, not at all;
  • You’re fluent in English and Dutch, having knowledge of French is a plus.
