As HSE Manager you develop and implement the Health, Safety & Environment policy in alignment with the HSE Strategy of Hydro Group.

Your role is to :

Identify risks in the work place related to labour safety, occupational health & mental wellbeing.
Analyse incidents, near misses (Root Cause Analysis) and propose sound and sustainable corrective actions.
Manage HSE in cooperation with local management as to guarantee compliance with EU and National rules & regulations, Group policies & procedures.
Collect and manage HSE data for KPI reporting purposes.
Improve safety and health by promoting and recommending preventive and/or protective means in process installations, machinery and workplace lay-outs.
Develop and perform specific HSE training sessions (technical & behavioural)
Organize and perform internal cross audits and ensure continuous improvement of the HSE management systems in place.
Share and propose new working methods, best available techniques and practices
Coordinate and implement different HSE projects for shopfloor and office people

Who you are :

You are passionate and have a proven track record in project management around various HSE related topics. You hold a Bachelor or Master degree preferably in a technical background with additional specialization in Safety (Preventie-Adviseur level 2).
Your strengths lie in defining and deploying a vision and being a great inspirator and ambassador. You have strong communication skills (English and Dutch) adaptable to the public involved.
You know how to operate locally and being part of an international group at the same time
