In this role you will drive continuous improvements and achieve a cost-efficient and effective supply chain logistics at Yazaki Belgium.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor the performance of all logistics functions within Yazaki Belgium.
• Raw material (Metal) Planning and administration.
• Supply Chain Management of metal materials.
• Identify, implement and follow up on opportunities for improvement within logistics
• Define and coordinate all logistics business process standards for Yazaki Belgium.
• Support, define and govern all YEL-ComBu YPMS projects to launch new business projects for logistic aspects
• Benchmark Yazaki Belgium operations with internal and external partners in order to drive further optimizations
• Provide support in defining the objectives for the various logistics departments
• Define the logistics requirements for suppliers
• Provide support to the submission and negotiation of quotes with suppliers (Logistics and IT- suppliers)
• Define, request approve and follow up of changes to the ERP-system throughout the end-to-end supply chain logistics process in terms of master data, process execution and management reporting.

Your profile:

• 3 – 5 years of working experience in an operational logistics functions, ideally in the automotive industry
• Business fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with a strong target- and result-oriented approach
• You have excellent IT skills: MS Office, SAP
• You can provide functional leadership as a project manager in dedicated projects
• With your excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) you can communicate effectively throughout the organization and with external partners at different levels.
• Strong time management with setting the right priorities
• Be able to work independently and as a team player.
