Process Improvement Engineer
Function
As a member of the manufacturing team, reporting to our Technical & Quality Manager, your role is to manage the different production processes starting from the incoming raw materials until our end products, coordinate the process improvement projects and lead the Process Improvement & production lab team.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and make case studies about possible causes of customer complaints or internal complaints (QA tools ) + follow up CAPAs on shop floor and incoming goods
- Inspection of incoming goods
- Checks quality on a regular basis of the Production Process
- Gives training courses or ensures that it is carried out
- Supports improvement projects, is responsible for the internal and environmental audits and makes sure that waste is separated correctly
- Gives support regarding the ISO 14001/45001 standard
Profil
Profile
- You have a bachelor or master¿s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
- You have at least a first professional experience. Experience in textiles or chemicals is an asset.
- You have knowledge of processing systems, experience in LEAN management is a plus
- You have an analytical & problem-solving mindset and can easily translate theoretical plans into practical actions.
- You are very fluent in Dutch and English.
- You have a practical knowledge of SAP.
- You work in a result driven, proactive and team-oriented way.
