Our client is a European market leader that processes freshly harvested fruit & vegetables into food products that can be easily stored and consumed. They offer their customers - including retailers, food service companies and the food industry - a wide range of products, from the classic canned and jarred products to ready-to-eat soups, sauces and dishes. Their products respond to the needs of modern consumers who want to eat in a tasty, convenient and healthy manner.To further support the growth, they are looking for a: Packaging Process Technologist.

Job Description

  • Together with your two colleagues, you are part of the process management team and report directly to the plant manager;
  • You focus on the entire process of flexible packaging (development, quality, etc.). You initiate improvement projects and coordinate tests and trial productions with existing or new packaging materials;
  • You create new recipes, process the classification in a proprietary software package and ensure the administrative follow-up for budget calculation;
  • You are back-up for the planning and follow-up of our cleaning activities.
  • You steer production processes with a focus on optimisation.

Who are you?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • You can provide a first relevant work experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • You are results-oriented and have a hands-on mentality.
  • You have strong communication skills and know how to use them in consultation with other departments.
  • You can work well on projects, both independently and in a team.
  • With your analytical thinking and organisational skills, you approach both problems and opportunities.
