For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for a Procurement Lead. This role will report to the Head of Finance EMEA.

Your Primary Areas Of Focus Are

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Drive the PR, PO, vendor creation and operative contracts for all legal entities of EMEA
  • Provide clear guidelines to EMEA colleagues on how to manage contracts & PO requests
  • Drive Strategic Vendors and Contracts for all functions heads (Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, SCM and Distribution Marketing, Communication, Medical, Clinical, Marketing, Communication, PR)
  • Help in P2P matters - supports HCP transparency
  • Contracts database creation
  • Owner of procure to pay processes with a focus on requisitioning and approvals
  • Liaise with, consult and collaborate with all appropriate functions
  • Work collaboratively across geographies and global teams, including notably global sourcing and vendor alliance management, to share best practices and process improvements
  • Work closely with BIS and other stakeholders to facilitate the continued improvement of the procure-to-pay process and associated tools such as local ERP
  • Take a lead role in the maintenance and upgrade of the local systems that support the procure-to-pay process
Desired Skills And Experience
  • Advanced degree in Economics or related domain
  • Relevant working experience as Procurement manager
  • Minimum of +5 years of overall combined procurement experience within the biotech or pharma industry
  • Excellent IT knowledge including Microsoft Office. Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus
