Who are we?
Xeryon is a fast-growing and innovative scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium, focused
on developing and producing groundbreaking micro motors. These motors are
smaller than a fingertip and are used in medical devices, robotics, the semiconductor
industry, and other high-tech sectors.
With an ambitious team and a strong dose of passion, we’re driving major growth —
from 6,000 motors per year today to 100,000 in the coming years. Backed by two
investment funds, we’re determined to conquer the market and make a global impact.
Do you want to help build the future and become a key player in this high-tech
revolution? We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Production Engineer to strengthen
our team!
What will you do?
As a Production Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind optimizing and scaling up
our production. You’ll analyze and improve processes, implement lean manufacturing
principles, and contribute to an efficient and flexible work environment.
In this role, you’ll be indispensable in creating a scalable and sustainable production
process. You’ll also play a key role in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001
standards, ensuring clear work instructions, documentation, and a structured
approach.
Additionally, you’ll manage and optimize our ERP system (Odoo), which plays a
central role in our transition toward a lean production environment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and optimizing production processes using lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
- Initiating and managing automation and digitalization projects.
- Establishing and improving quality systems and standard procedures in line with ISO 9001.
- Creating and maintaining clear work instructions and documentation.
- Managing and optimizing our ERP system (Odoo) to support production and operations.
- Proactively identifying and resolving production bottlenecks.
- Collaborating across teams to implement improvement projects successfully.
- Conducting data analysis and reporting on performance, efficiency, and improvement opportunities.
What do we expect from you?
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Product Development, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Broad understanding of production processes; experience with assembly techniques is a plus.
- Experience or strong interest in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of or experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in a CAD package.
- Familiarity with basic components used in automation projects.
- Experience with an ERP system (preferably Odoo) is a plus.
- You thrive in the fast-paced environment of a growing scale-up and have a “sky is the limit” mindset.
- You’re entrepreneurial and eager to help build a high-tech factory on Belgian soil.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
What can you expect from us?
- A challenging and varied role in a fast-growing and innovative scale-up, serving some of the world’s most cutting-edge companies.
- A competitive salary package.
- Flexible working hours.
- An inspiring work environment with passionate and talented colleagues.
- Opportunities for training and development.
- Full-time position.
